Presenting a welcome face for customers at of one of Brookline Bank’s busiest branches, Torrey Architecture recently completed this major renovation, accomplishing Brookline Bank’s goal of encouraging personal connections between customers and bankers to better serve its customers and improve the working environment for its dedicated staff.
From the glass canopy sheltering the entrance doors to the dynamic lobby ceiling, customers are now given first class treatment and a friendly greeting. The banking floor has been completely transformed with a raised ceiling enlivened with suspended LED light fixtures. Glass-enclosed bankers’ offices face the all-new teller line, and both work areas now focus on clients entering the open bank lobby. Integrating new site planning and landscaping with new banking technology and life safety improvements throughout the facility, the Salem Street Branch has now been upgraded for the benefit of employees and the public.
