Description
When your house looks out across your llama field, you really must step out for a view! The panoramic vista from this historic home’s kitchen and dining room inspired the sweeping curve of this outdoor dining deck. A new French door to replace Dining Room windows begins the promenade which arcs around the kitchen wing to connect back to the landscaped terrace alongside the existing mudroom door. A rock garden bordering stone steps follows the grade change under cantilevered timber beams supporting the deck. Mahogany deck boards and railing cap contrast with the stainless steel cable railings and diminutive aluminum posts to offer an unimpeded view of the pastoral landscape below.
